East Midlands Conservation Programme – Cromford Canal

BTCV East Midlands intends to run a programme of practical conservation events at important wildlife sites across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. The work on Cromford Canal will take place over 8 days and be undertaken by BTCV volunteers who will contribute an estimated 64 workdays.
This project will focus on the management of reed mace and open water to support the local water vole population and is supported by the Water Vole Project, British Waterways and Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.
