East Sussex 1

East Sussex 1 is a 58 ft. ex naval ‘Kiwi’ class; steel hulled launch built in 1970, and is a beautiful robust little ship that represents a high point in the standard of British Shipbuilding. MVS provide people of all ages with access to new skills and enable employment and leisure opportunities.
An assessment of the boat undertaken to maintain its certificate of seaworthiness has identified extensive work to the hull and bulkhead that will be required as a matter of urgency otherwise the certificate will not be re-issued and the ship will not be able to sail.
