Eastville Lake Enhancement Project, Avon From Partnership/Bristol City Council

Eastville Park is the largest Victorian public park in Bristol, created in the early 1890s. It occupies 28 ha (70 acres) to the northeast of Bristol city centre and consists of a wide open plateau with fine views and mature avenues of trees. The aim of this project are to improve the environment of the Lake in Eastville Park through enhancing biodiversity, increasing the opportunities the Lake offers for enjoyment by the local community including improving their access to nature, mitigating potential conflict between user groups, improving safety and enhancing wildlife habitat.
