Ecology for All

Fenland Archaeological Trust is currently looking to develop the landscaped park known as Flag Fen to encourage biodiversity. This will include planting of native plants including rare species introduction, appropriate management of the existing trees, hedges and other planting to ensure its healthy survival. This will go hand in hand with encouragement of wildlife, thus ensuring the park is a high quality environment to provide better facilities for the community to enjoy outdoor green space. Encouragement of volunteering will take place in the local community with associated outcomes of better self esteem, confidence and motivation that that brings.
