Eddlewood Sports Hall roof repair and general upgrade

Hamilton Gymnastics Club has purchased the Eddlewood Sports Barn through the asset transfer scheme from SLC.The building will be used as a full time gymnastics facility.Reopening will allow the community the opportunity to take part in sport on their door step.We provide classes for 450 children and young adults a week in South Lanarkshire sports centres and schools.Opening our own facility will give 250 more spaces plus the chance to train on Olympic standard equipment.This facility will allow us to increase our class numbers allowing more 18 month -5 year old children to take part as well as offering adult gymnastics, boys only and display. Before we can occupy the building we have to repair the roof as a priority.The main gym hall needs repaired and sealed and the flat roof at the front of the building need replaced.The whole building needs a general overhaul in terms of painting and general maintenance issues.We need to ensure that the building is fit for the purpose of delivering gymnastics classes.
