Education Lounge Development

A central feature of the FACT building is its accessibility, offering all members of the public access to a free exhibitions programme, computer suites and training. Most heavily used of all our services is our Education Lounge in the foyer area of the building. However it is now required to be much more multi-purpose and functional and we need to redevelop it in order to achieve the most we can out of the space. Currently the pressure on the room is making it almost unusable and we will soon have to restrict access and / or close for long periods of time. We have been given the opportunity to extend the floor space of the Education Lounge further into the foyer area and we want to entirely rebuild and re-focus the facility to ensure maximum access and usability for the long-term.
