Egerton Sports Pavilion

To construct a new sports pavilion to replace existing facilities which are unfit for purpose. The village has excellent playing field facilities served by a small pavilion built as a temporary structure in 1974. It is too small, does not meet modern standards, nor provide suitable changing facilities for children, both genders, nor people with disabilities. Now in very poor condition, its structure includes asbestos, a potential risk to users. The community has a long-standing aspiration to replace it, confirmed by a village-wide consultation. The new pavilion will be a modern, purpose-built facility for sports which will serve the community for 50 years.
