Eglinton Growers

Our aims as a voluntary group are to develop what is now a farmer’s field in to a community garden with a number of facilities on the site. The first part of achieving this are the requirements of the planning permission to do some enabling works so that the public can come on to the site safely. We require making a new entrance from the main road also layout pathways and developing the several different areas of the field and in preparation for this we will be planting over 2500 new trees bushes and hedging. Community areas of the site will include an orchard, seating and picnic area and also a community barn which will hold several activities.
