Elford Community Playground

The project vision is to revitalise the current Elford Jubilee Memorial Playground and in doing do rename it Elford Community Playground, as the predominantly wooden furniture and play apparatus were installed twenty-three years ago.
The community in Elford wish to revitalise the Community Playground; to provide a multi-purpose facility with a much broader communal appeal and use for the whole village and surrounding population.
Maintenance costs of the aging facilities have become unsustainable and unless the current dilapidated play equipment is replaced, this playground will become unsafe and unusable, meaning the community will lose this valuable public open space.
The project will see the installation of new, durable equipment that will have longevity. It will also provide a multi-purpose facility with a much broader communal appeal.
