Elland Bridge Riverside Park

Elland is a deprived township in Halifax district. The Riverside Park has tremendous potential to provide a high quality public open space for the people and workforce of Elland and visitors to the town. It is within short walking distance of the town centre, and already provides a green lung alongside the river Calder, the bypass and the districts corridor, Urban Open Space and partly conservation area. In its existing state the park is in a poor condition and consequently underused. A Development Brief and site analysis has been published to transform the site with riverside access
