Engine Lonning Entrance Project

Engine Lonning is an old railway siding sited between the hospital and the river.
The Friends of Engine Lonning group wish to work towards their aim of improving and diversifying the habitats present in the Nature Reserve. In this application the group wish to replace the existing gate at the entrance to Engine Lonning with an entrance feature that is visually stimulating, interesting and reflects the history of the site whilst promoting the green space to the local community. It is also important to keep the site secure from illegal motorcycle use and this new gate will achieve this aim in an aesthetically pleasing way.
