Engineering Heritage & Restoration Centre

1. To extend an established (30 years) heritage and restoration centre (and museum) into the areas of education and training, by building a dedicated workshop facility 25m x 6m to enable practical, restoration and traditional manufacturing activities to commence, for which all permissions have been obtained.
2. This will enable the existing auditorium, housing the collection, to be opened up to the public by removing to I. above, all the tools, equipment, etc, out of the public areas, enabling schoolchildren, students, tourists, visitors and the public in general to learn from, appreciate and enjoy the collection in safety.
3. It will enable training courses (already trialled successfully) to be extended to a wider clientelle, as these will be able to be carried out in the new facility.
