Enhancement of Lough Acrussel with native Rudd, Tench and Bream

Lough Acrussel was restocked with Rudd in 2012 following a coarse angling survey and consultation with DCAL. A subsequent survey has shown the project successfully reintroduced a population of Rudd in the Lough. To ensure viability and self sustainability, it is recommended that further restocking take place and to ensure healthy populations of more fish within the Lough it is recommended that Tench and Bream are also re-stocked.
