Enhancement of the Carymoor Centre as a Public Amenity

This project seeks to ensure that the messages of a show-case environmental centre focusing on sustainability, waste-minimisation and biodiversity are received by as many people as possible and that visits made to the centre are well catered for in terms of inspirational displays and information.

The Carymoor Environmental Centre has been designed as an example of low environmental impact employing the principles of sustainable use of materials and incorporation of renewable energy technologies. It is based on a restored landfill site, adjacent to an operational landfill site
