Enhancements to Southwick Coast Wildlife Reserve

Southwick Coast is an attractive stretch of coastline designated as SSSI and SAC. The project aims to to undertake the following tasks to enhance the visitor experience of the reserve:

– Access improvements (signage, footpath surfacing, vegetation strimming, grass cutting and drainage works)
– Woodland management (selective felling/chemical clearance of non-native beech and sycamore)
– Habitat enhancement (grass cutting, wildflower planting, pond creation, removal of common cord grass)
