Enhancing Butterdean Wood

The overall aim of the project is to enhance access and interpretation at Butterdean Wood, for greater use and enjoyment by the local community, schools and recreational groups. Clear, way marked routes and improved path networks will enable existing users and new groups - in particular recreational users and schools - to explore and enjoy the site with confidence. Clearer interpretation at the entrance will improve WTS’s presence; provide a clear picture of the path network; and reassure users that the site is properly maintained.
