Enhancing conditions for priority birds at Belfast Harbour Reserve

This project will enhance conditions for UK BAP and NIPS at Belfast Harbour Reserve. We plan to improve conditions for lapwing, and other wildlife, electric fencing will help to prevent predation by mammalian predators, through habitat maintenance such as meadow mowing, scrub management, hydrological management enhancing the lagoon for waterbirds and essential tern island maintenance, creating safe and predator free nesting sites.
