To improve and maintain the nature conservation value of an area of scrub and fen/reed swamp at Portmore Lough Nature Reserve. To coppice 0.125ha of scrub and thin 0.125ha. To maintain age and structural diversity at the site, To target open fen and reed swamp to remove all young colonising scrub to maintain the amount of open valuable habitat
