Enhancing the rural heritage in the Fermanagh Lakelands

This project aims to improve the rural landscape for primarily lapwing (UK BAP species), and also for other wildlife by removing invasive scrub and gorse and installing predator fencing on White Island and Lusty More Islands on Lough Erne. This will create optimum habitat for lapwing and other Northern Ireland Priority Species, contributing to Species Action Plan (SAP) targets.
