Enhancing Visitor Access at Pease Dean

Pease Dean is a Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve located near Cockburnspath. This woodland reserve atrracts many visitors, being close to a busy coastal caravan site and hosting a section of the Southern Upland Way.

The key aim of the project is to create a comfortable, safe, high quality, durable footpath through the Lower Tower Dean section of the reserve. Steps, gates, bridges, boardwalk sections and drains will be installed or improved as required.

The project will also install updated threshold signs and the enhanced reserve will be publicised through the development and distribution of a leaflet.
