Enriching Denge & Pennypot Wood

This project aims to improve the biodiversity of Denge & Pennypot Wood, by focusing on coppicing nearly 2 hectares of sweet chestnut and opening up the paths to secure the native woodland habitat. By enhancing these unique features of this habitat we will create conditions to make Denge & Pennypot Wood a more sustainable woodland for significant flora and fauna and have benefits beyond its boundaries into the wider landscape.
