Environmental Education Project

This project seeks to provide a comprehensive Environmental Education programme to the community, which will be based at Wat Tyler Country Park,The project will cover a wide variety of issues and build upon work already being carried out. The programme will be comprehenisive in its approach and will deal with issues such as:-
1. History of the Country park
2. Previous military activity as an ammunitions storage facility
3. Surrounding agricultural usage
4. Adjacent landfill site and triple S.I. land
5. Water transport issues
6 activities of the RSPB and
7. Recycling of land use.

It is intended that local schools, and the community will also be included in the project so that emphasis can be made of issues in respect of the protection of the local environment.
