Environmental Improvements and Additional Floodlights, Streetly Tennis Club, West Midlands

The project is to install solar panels on the extended clubhouse with battery storage and to install additional floodlighting at Streetly Tennis Club.

The project will benefit members, neighbours and members of the local community in the following ways:

1) Environmental – carbon reduction, reduced use of electricity 30% saving, reduced light spillage and glare.
2) Health and wellbeing – to enable more tennis and cardio tennis to be played by juniors, adult and O65 members during winter, spring and autumn months leading to improved fitness and health.
3) Tennis facilities – to provide LTA recommended lighting levels and provide more playing and coaching time to meet current unmet demand.
