Environmental Improvements at Truss’s Island, Surrey

This project seeks funding to undertake a number of environmental improvements at Truss’s Island on the River Thames in Surrey, revitalising a popular public amenity for the benefit of all visitors. Work will include -Stabilisation of riverbank (including excavation and new foundations); Clearance of overgrown vegetation; Provision of wooden jetty boards and rails; Improvements to disabled fishing platforms;
Renovation of wooden bridges, seats and handrails; Improved signage; Planting of shrubs. The area is freely available to the general public at all times.
