Environmental Improvements to Public Footpath No. 47

This project seeks funding to undertake a number of environmental improvements to Footpath no. 47 which runs from Thorpe Green to Hurst Land, Egham. The scheme will revitalise a currently neglected footpath and improve access for the benefit of all within the local communlity. Work will include clearance of currently overgrown vegetation, replacement of two existing stiles and provision of a boardwalk over a particularly wet section of the path. Footpath 47 is freely available to the general public at all times and undertaking the proposed work will encourage greater use of the facility by all members of the local community.
