Eradication of Japanese Knotweed from the watercourse of Duntocher Burn

This public amenity location in West Dunbartonshire has been identified as having Japanese Knotweed infestation.
This is detrimental to the well being and development of the natural fauna, flora and insect life in the area and is restricting access to this amenity for the general public. Working in partnership with the Local Authority, Greenlight will establish a multi- funded project to eradicate the Japanese Knotweed infestation along the watercourse of Duntocher Burn. This will require an initial clearance and intensive treatment of the Knotweed over the first year of the project.
Annual clearances and treatment will follow, on a reducing scale, over the following 2 years to completely eradicate all Knotweed growth.
