Erdington Methodist Church, Birmingham - Entrance Refurbishment and New Cafe (40206/D)

The project aim is to transform the building into a modern, more visible and welcoming community church, where people will be drawn in, and feel welcomed and at home. The front will be repaved and new notice boards and signage installed. The surrounding wall will have a seat inserted for all to use, near the bus stop. Steps and disabled ramp will lead into the foyer, extended into a cafe area. A glass screen will divide this area from the sanctuary. LED lighting will replace existing fittings where possible. The Trust grant will contribute towards the new cafe and entrance improvements.
