Errington Wood Access Improvement Project

Errington wood is situated above the village of New Maske. It is a popular walking area and is supported by a community group, Friends of Errington Wood. There are 5 entrance points into the wood, one of which is Pontac Road. At present this area has a very run down appearance. This project aims to:-
Establish a new track surface suitable for mult purpose use
Upgrade/ replace entranceway fencing
With support from local schools to formulate a design, an artist would fabricate and install a security barrier which incorporates a feature to reflect the heritage of the area.
