Esher Green Baptist Church, Esher – Community Hub Redevelopment Project (1842/D/TP)

A redevelopment of the building/facilities to create a vibrant ‘community space’, the only modern facility within Esher Town Centre, and base for the expanding community work, including ‘Platinum’ a project for the elderly, an after-school club for children, ‘Toddlestop’ the town centre’s only toddler group, meeting space for local businesses, clubs and voluntary organisations, courses (available to all sectors of the population) including debt management, marriage, relationship and parenting courses.

Facilities that will make the building much more accessible for disabled people, including those with mobility problems and parents with buggies.

This redevelopment will improve access to the building for all sections of the community.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the external raised terrace.
