Essington Wood - Community buildings

The project will create access from all parts of the building to the improved toilets, and to expand and improve the kitchen facilities. A corridor will be cut through the existing kitchen to enable direct access from our small hall to the toilets. The kitchen will be extended and modernised. A new men’s toilet will be created and the existing disabled toilet revamped. A new Fire Exit will be created together with a new committee room. An enlarged lobby to the church will create a more congenial reception area, and allow easier access for coffins. There will be direct access from the lobby into the committee room which will also act as a Vestry.
