EVRA Education Centre

This project at Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, Wirksworth is to replace two very old, now derelict Portakabin type buildings with a larger, single ‘modular’ building, to create a multi-purpose facility for training and briefing of volunteers on the railway; an exhibition open to the public, displaying the heritage of the railway; an education centre for local schools, colleges etc; and a rentable meeting room available to the public and other local organisations. The project works include the purchase & installation of a 32’ x 20’ disabled accessible modular building, plus fitting out (desks, chairs etc., re-using some existing furniture and a large screen TV where possible).
