Exeter Mosque – Peace Garden Project

Transform the large, neglected gardens at Exeter mosque into a beautiful and multi-functional space that will be open to everyone, bringing different communities together.
(a) Landscaping and planting costs. (b) Professional fees for landscaping and planting (c) Professional fees for trainer to deliver a programme of fortnightly Gardening and Conservation Workshops to volunteers and to facilitate volunteering sessions. Increases in racism have had a significant impact on community cohesion. Covid has left BAME communities even more isolated/separated. This project will involve local people learning and working together with a common purpose, benefiting the community and the environment and breaking down barriers
