Explore Aberdeen: Path Pitfodels Station Road Allotments

At present there is a vehicle track used by allotment holders only to access their site. It comes to within 10 metres of the Deeside Way.
The proposal is to create a 2 metre wide tarmac path on the line of this track and continue it on to the Deeside Way (Core Path 66).
A fence will be required to prevent access on to the allotment.
The current route for cyclists and walkers is along Pitfodel Station Road which is narrow with traffic lights either side of the railway bridge. Although it is not a core path it would be a popular access and egress point for the Deeside Line.
