To interpret and make accessible the woodland habitat at St Fagan’s National History Museum by: –
Installing nesting boxes with cameras. Recording nesting activity and bat roosting. Providing bird feeder, binoculars, bird books – encouraging visitors to explore birds feeding in the gardens. Creating a route through the woodland. Providing access for all visitors to trail. Interpretation panels featuring images of wildlife and seasonal woodland changes. Installing sensory interpretation panels highlighting natural history on the site. Creating information for visitors – encouraging them to explore their own local environment. Employ an interpreter to develop educational materials/activities webpage.
