Extend and modernise Kitchen area

The current Village Hall kitchen is small and restrictive, and does not allow the preparation and cooking of meals for large parties. We plan to demolish the existing wooden building and replace it with a block/brick building on a concrete base, with improved storage and better appliances. This will allow the Village Hall to attract and accommodate professional caterers for larger parties including wedding receptions, and Village Hall lunches for residents of the area.

Planning permission from the local authority (Melton Borough Council) is required and has been applied for. It is not anticipated that there will be any objections to the application.
