Extension of Education Officer Post at Sutton Courtenay Environmental Education Centre

Continuation of F/T Education Officer to maintain the level of visitor numbers and programme of activity, continue to make improvements to the facilities at the centre and adjoining nature reserve for teaching, development of new teaching programmes. (E.g. development of the wildlife garden and other teaching areas, two educational programmes, ‘Eco-warrior’ and ‘Mission Earth’ linked to energy saving and waste management) so further developing the public amenity of the site. The post is at present funded by Oxfordshire County Council and RWE npower who will continue to fund 50% of the post, the final 50% being funded by RWE npower’s LTCS. The project may be registered for 50% of the requested LTCS money. This equated to £10000.
