Fairburn Community Garden

To regenerate a former piece of redundant highways land into a new publicly accessible amenity. To reunite the village and create a stronger link between the two halves of the community, by engaging residents to work together and take ownership of the facility. To provide a peaceful place for residents and visitors to relax and / or reflect. To create a focul meeting point at the heart of the village. To create linkages with the surrounding space, which could be developed further at a later date. To provide a new location for the village memorial to commemorate those who lost theirs lives in battle.
