Fairburn Ings Lake Restoration

At present the standing eutrophic waters at Fairburn Ings are in an unfavourable condition. This project aims to restore the lakes favourable condition through a series of measures directed by a detailed technical assessment. It aims to reverse the decline in wintering wildfowl at the reserve.
