Falkirk Community Waste Fund

Project seeks to offset the difficulties experienced by local Falkirk communities in finding funding for projects that would have been covered by the now defunct category c & cc of Landfill Tax credits.
Projects that are sought will specifically relate to innovative and new approaches to dealing with difficult waste streams,ie,those that are not being recycled and re-used.
The Falkirk area accepts municipal and commercial waste from both Stirling and Clackmannanshire. This creates an even greater disamenity for the people of Falkirk from the effects of landfilling. It is important that the local residents can improve their local environment through community driven waste management projects.
