Falkland Palace Wildlife Orchard and Gardens

The project aims to
1. conserve and enhance the 17th Century orchard and adjacent garden as wildlife rich grassland and woodland areas for improved biodiversity and create more enjoyable surroundings for visitors and the local community
2. enhance the adjacent woodland area with native species and garden areas with herbs and perennials
3. provide a wheelchair accessible linking bridge for improved access
4. provide seating for visitors
5. to provide interpretation about these habitats and enable NTS to provide a range of learning opportunities for schools, visitors and local community
