Fallbarn Park Phase 1 Improvements

This project aims to address this issue through creating a specific facility for juniors and young people.
The consultation identified the following pieces of equipment as preferred:
– zipwire/cableway
– swings (including a single point or basket swing)
– climbing boulder unit
– slide
– possibly an outdoor tennis table or other less challenging activity (dependant on results of further consultation).

In addition to the play equipment the project also includes alterations to the main entrance on Fallbarn Road and widening the central macadam path to make it more welcoming and more accessible. The surfacing for the new play equipment will run up to the widened path making access much better for all users.
The project also includes entrance signage, repairing steps to access the woodland entrance, grass matting and sand filled carpet in agreed areas, new seating and litter bins which will be beneficial for all users.
