Family Play Area in Gilvenbank Park, North Glenrothes

A family play area for children from toddlers to your teenagers and disabled. This is in the North part of Glenrothes where there are no leisure or recreation facilities, and this with around 15,000 population. This project came to the mind of all NGCC members, and was ratified in a major consultation survey in the north, both as a need for the community and with recommendations as to specific needs and wishes. The family play area is divided into 6 sections/phases/areas and also as one totality, so as to fill a gap for children of all ages and abilitiers. It is varied so as to add to everyone’s health and well being as well as providing a youth diversion and family attraction.
