Fantastic Fight (Works to upgrade Building 28 )

This is part of a wider development plan to transform the National Museum of Flight into an internationally important facility and visitor attraction. The project will upgrade Building 28, a World War II RAF workshop building on a WWI and WWII airfield site. It will; restore the building; make it fully accessible; make it more environmentally friendly; improve amenities for visitors and provide an educational experience of the highest order. After restoration, Building 28 will re-open as an existing new interactive gallery about the principles of flight, with education and access at its heart.
