Farlam Parish Play Area, Hallbankgate

The aim of the project is to provide a children’s play area in a remote rural fellside parish. The piece of land will also have space to provide a general community space to relax or play games. The area will be fenced off with an inner fence and an outer stock- proof fence. The area between the fences will be hedged with some tree planting. The play equipment has been selected by a vote carried out at Hallbankgate Primary School. The equipment will cover from toddler age to young teenagers and include a swing for children with limited physical abilities. A site has been identified in Hallbankgate and a lease has been agreed for 20 years.
