Farmborough Village Hall – Heating & Electrics upgrade

We wish to replace our old & inefficient storage heaters & infra red wall heaters with a more carbon friendly, cost effective & efficient method of heating.
We intend to change to an air source heat pump to have air to air heating making the most of the measures already in place, we have solar panels on the roof & both the cavity walls & roof space are fully insulated.
We also plan to have some of the Hall wiring updated to put RCDs in place, utilise the storage heater sockets to become double plug sockets & reconfigure the lighting on the stage to make it safer which we can pay for out of our fund raising to date.
The toilets were rewired during refurbishment 2 years ago but the rest of the Hall needs upgrading as it is refurbished, all windows & doors are UPVC, the heating needs to be replaced & our research has led us to the air pump option and it is the heating improvements we will spend the Grant on.
