Farndon Watch Hut

The project seeks to fit out a newly built community ‘Watch Hut’ which will be used regularly by Farndon Watch Group, a long-running volunteer-led children’s wildlife group (aimed at ages 5-15) based at the nature reserve, as well as by Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust Conservation Volunteers and for educational sessions for local schools run by Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust Education Officers. The fit out will include floor underlay and covering, skirting boards, shelves and storage, solar powered lighting, as well as a new access path to the hut. Without these elements the hut will not be suitable for its intended use.
