Farringdon Church Pointing

The 2012 Quinquennial Inspection of the church highlighted numerous areas inside and out requiring pointing. The worst cracks have been checked for movement using telltails and have been found to be stable. Twyford Lime Products have examined the walls and consider the necessary pointing in lime mortar should take two days with the mortar being tended for the next 3 days. The estimate is for this amount of work but will be reviewed after the first two days.
