Farthinghoe Children’s Play Park – Refurbishment

We are looking to re-furbish our children’s play park by raising money both through grant applications and public appeal. Despite being a vibrant community with many school-aged and pre-primary children, we have outmoded and in some cases defunct play equipment that is no longer fit for purpose.We have conducted a thorough consultation exercise with our wider community, scoped the scale of the project, tendered for quotations and now selected our chosen contractor. We have raised more than £17,000 towards our overall proposed project cost of £37,750 and we’re now seeking the remaining £20,000 through the Viridor Credits, Small Grants Scheme. In summary, the new children’s play park will provide a fun, sustainable and attractive amenity for the children of Farthinghoe.
