Fencing for flowers at Risley Glebe nature reserve

Derbyshire Wildlife Trust is keen that the flower rich grassland, and associated habitats/species, at Risley Glebe is not lost. In order to maintain and improve the biodiversity of the site, and ensure that it is respected and valued by the local community, the fencing at Risley requires immediate replacement.

Over the years the fencing has deteriorated to the point where it is becoming problematic. Once fencing begins to decay people and dogs access the site at various points, paths begin to form and the integrity of the area can be compromised.

This little project will provide 150 metres of new fencing.
