Ffarm Moelyci Covered Community Spaces

The project will renovate two existing barns on the community farm to serve as multi-activity shelters for use by a number of local community groups and organisations. The ‘Red Barn’ will be refurbished to its original agricultural appearance with an extension to provide a covered space for exhibitions, craft activities, agricultural skills demonstrations and performances. The ‘Biomass Barn’ will accommodate storage and preparation space as well as demonstrations and small-scale charcoal production, fibre product making and biomass fuel log production from low value green material harvested on the site as part of the community farm’s conservation management plan.
